Darryl previously served at Salem Baptist Church in Chicago where he shared preaching and teaching responsibilities. He has not only served the Christian community, but also has ministered in prisons, detention centers, hospitals, and schools in evangelistic capacities. He is an anointed preacher, with an explicit call to help individuals realize and maximize their God-given purpose. His personal testimony challenges people to overcome life’s struggles, while his preaching ministry empowers them to serve God’s call with boldness and authority. Darryl and his wife, Shanicka, live in Sacramento.

An expert in New Testament Theology and Roman Social History with his doctorate, he is the author of five books and numerous articles. David has been a professor of biblical studies and of history at North Park University and North Park Seminary as well as Vice President of Academic Affairs at William Jessup University. From 2010-2015 he served as Provost and Senior Vice President of Biola University. At present he serves as Professor in Residence at Western Seminary, Sacramento. He and his wife, Kristina, reside in Sacramento with their young-adult daughter, Annika.
has been involved in church ministry his whole life, particularly with teens and youth workers. Marko’s work in the church has been broad, ranging in roles from Junior High Pastor to Executive Pastor. For 11 years, Marko served with Youth Specialties, an organization focused on equipping youth workers – the last 8 of these years as president. Concurrently, Marko was part of Zondervan’s leadership team. He has authored or contributed to more than 60 books, including Youth Ministry 3.0. He is a partner in The Youth Cartel, providing resources, training and coaching for youth workers. Marko is married to Jeannie; they have two teenage children, Liesl and Max. Marko’s blog.
Andrew is one of the Senior Pastors at Bayside Church. He is married to Isabelle and together they have four children. Originally from Northern Ireland, he has been in active ministry for over 20 years and travels extensively sharing the Christian message in a creative, humorous and challenging style. He is committed first and foremost to building local churches and raising up multigenerational leaders. As the father of four children, life is never dull, however he still finds the time to enjoy running, mountains and French food!
FLOREDILIA (FLOR) GRATEROL
counts it a privlege to serve as the chaplain at CHET, and to be ordained in the Evangelical Covenant Church. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, she has now lived and served in Los Angeles for nearly 30 years. Her involvement with the Evangelical Covenant Church began in 2000. Almost at the same time, a new Hispanic church was being planted in Downey, California, where she was part of the core group and served for ten years. Flor studied at CHET and was awarded her bachelor’s degree in Christian ministry which led to studies at Fuller Theological Seminary. One of Flor’s greatest joys is teaching the Bible. Each Monday night you will find her teaching “The Life of Jesus” on CHET’s main campus. She currently attends Emmanuel Covenant Church in Northridge, California.
